Bridal Registry
A Bridal Registry is a collection of information about the wishes of a couple.
This may be for their marriage or for any celebration that they want to make public.
People who may wish to participate in the Registry are informed of the Registry by the couple and each may buy from the Registry according to his means.
This is a very practical way of ensuring that, young couples especially, receive what they need and at the time they wish, probably during or soon after their marriage and, of course, without unwanted or duplicate goods that may later be discarded.
Each time an item is bought from the Registry it is subtracted from the total count. When that item is exhausted (it has reached the quantity initially requested by the couple) the counter for that item is set to zero. People may then direct their attention to some other items in the list.
The Registry is closed at a specified time.
It may be that, at this time, the Bridal Registry is not fully bought out (ie. Items remain at the end of a specific period). In this case, what was ordered is posted to the couple and the couple is informed of the status of the Registry.
